![]() On the 8th day1/10/04(from an idea by Bethany Cox) Norm Reynolds held the frog in his gloved hand and looked at it closely. As he turned it over to look at the abdomen a strange wind whipped the treetops and a myriad of canopy life began to rain down. Norm chuckled as hundreds of little frogs fell all about him -- the one in his hand jumping away. Instead of the one new species found and now escaping, dozens of other species were leaping off into the undergrowth. He reached for his net and tried to catch them and then hesitated. One of the frogs, on a leaf near his face, was completely transparent and oddly inchoate. He froze and watched internal organs form and the eyes took on shape and substance. Then pigmentation spread across the 2-centimeter long body. And it began to breathe, blinked at him and then bounded off into thick foliage. What was that? Norm stood transfixed and looked around for other similar frogs and then looked up at the sky, the canopy now still with an odd light filtering through. What had he just witnessed here in the depths of the Amazonian rain forest? What would he say to his research partners? How could he report watching a frog doing that -- whatever that was? And just what was the process he had witnessed. It was as if the frog just appeared ex nihlo, on that leaf -- a spontaneous creation. Norm headed back to the trail -- questioning his own reality check. And Elohim stood nearby silently watching his new frogs at play. And it was good, very good.

As some of your own poets have said, "We are his offspring." Colossian 1:17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Hebrews 1:3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word.
