Divination Akasha Akasha is a double CD of deep ambient timbres from Divination, an e-music supergroup with Bill Laswell, Tetsu Inoue, Mick Harris, Anton Fier, Paul Schutze, Pete Namlook, Haruomi Hosono and Thomas Koner in various incarnations. These guys are anything but predictable. Their discs range from deep minimalism to overt rhythms to heavy sequencing and all points in between. This set covers many styles, all of them expertly. The rhythms are frenetic. The gentle pieces are deep. The entire set is dark and intense. It is also great! ~ Jim Brenholts
