Daedro: Pasajero (CD, 56:12); indy, N/A, 1999 E-mail: daedro@usa.net Cyberhome: http://www.planznow.com 10 words or less: Cross late era Pink Floyd with early Porcupine Tree Elaboration: Grantchester Meadows is the tune I recalled during track 4 of this album. Other than that, there is a distinctively modern approach and sound to this Central-American band reminiscent of early Porcupine Tree. Spanish vocals are sparse and unobtrusive. All songs segue into each other giving the album a classic, thematic feeling. Sequencers, effects and synthesizers are featured throughout as well as acoustic and electric guitars. I highly recommend this album to any fans of early Porcupine Tree or late Floyd but Daedro are not merely a clone band, they have their own ideas which they incorporate into this album making it a worthwhile purchase. ~ L Perez, EER-MUSIC.com
