Seofon Casual Collapse The Process EP The Access EP Casual Collapse is a set of brilliant experimental ambience from Seofon, one of the leading progenitors of that school. He uses lots of techniques, processes and gadgets from many sub-genres of electronica. There are strong references to the Berlin school, echoes of trance dance, hues of atmospheric ambience and hints of experimental avant-garde. Seofon's sound design and mix give the sound its unique stamp. Thus, it is a new sound that borrows from several others. ~ Jim Brenholts Seofon created two EPs to accompany Casual Collapse. The Process EP and The Access EP have loads of charm, experimental timbres, swirling atmospheres and the trademark sounds of Seofon and Ambient Temple of I-Magination (ATOI) , an ensemble with whom he has performed for years. These discs fall into the rhythmic arena of e- music. Some call it ambient but -- by Erik Satie's definition, adopted by Brian Eno -- it does not fit as ignorable.
